Corrosion resistance

1.4567 shows good corrosion resistance in most natural waters rural and urban atmosphere, with absence greater chloride and salt concentrations. This quality is not sea water resistant and should not be used in the maritime sector. By resistance to moderate chloride media and organic cold acid solutions is 1.4567 suitable for use in the food industry. The corrosion resistance is quite similar to 1.4307 but shows (caused by its high copper content) a limited resistance in many reducing acid media, for example Sulfuric acid.
